SCHEDULER
The Scheduler for January is:Betty Kistler
NEW tee time is 10:00 a.m. Please be at your cart and ready to play by 9:45. Some times we can leave earlier than 10:00!
Please sign-up the Friday before play on Monday. Call or email the Scheduler if: a) you can't make it; b) forgot to sign up; or c) decide not to play that morning (e.g., it's raining). The Scheduler will contact the Pro Shop with any additions or cancellations.
MEETINGS, NOTES, & OTHER STUFF
- Dues: The annual dues of $5.00 is due by January 31st. They can be given to either Ann Schneider, Chris Lesko, or Janet Koertge. OR, just leave it at the Pro Shop. If dues are not paid by January 31st, your name will be dropped from the membership list.
- Birdie Fund: A new "Birdie Fund" has been established. The purpose of this fund is to add some excitement to getting a birdie on the course. The dues for this fund are $1.00 annually. When you score a birdie, you are to notify T. Ella Strother AND Janet Koertge. T. Ella is in charge of pin distribution and Janet is in charge of the money. Pins and money will then be distributed at the year-end meeting. Every time you score a birdie, your name is placed on the list as one of the people to receive part of the money in the fund!
- New Shirts: At the 2015 year-end meeting, a new Cedar Creek Niner shirt color was chosen. Why new shirts? Our current color is the same color as the color chosen and worn by the Woodside Niners. We felt we needed to be distinctive as Cedar Creekers! (For you newbies, this shirt is worn by the Cedar Creek Niners to our various golf events; e.g., Exchanges and Interclub.) We will be notified some time at the end of January when samples will be available in the Pro Shop for us to try on various sizes and place an order. Keep your eye out for another email!
- Name Tags: Chris Lesko will be placing an order for name tags in early January. Names tags are worn for Interclub and Exchange play. If you would like a name tag, please email Chris the information you want on your name tag by January 5th.
SUNSHINE CARDS
If you know of any member who would benefit from receiving a card from the Niners (get well, sympathy, etc.), please notify Ann Schneider at or Chris Lesko at They will notify the Niners' Sunshine Committee.
